Your trust matters to me, and that includes how I handle your information. This policy explains what I collect through markromanenko.com and the tools I use for booking and email, how I use it, and the choices you have.
I’m Mark Romanenko, and I run Paladin Astrology from Oregon, USA. For anything about your information, use the contact form or email me (details at the end of this page).
What I collect
- When you contact me: your name, email address, and message.
- When you join the newsletter: your email address, through MailerLite.
- When you book: your name, email address, birth date, birth time, birth place, and anything you share about what you’d like to explore, through Calendly. Payments are handled by Calendly’s payment provider; I never see or store your full card details.
- During sessions: with your permission, which I ask for at the start of every session, I record our Zoom meeting. Afterward I send you the recording along with a transcript.
- Automatically: to protect the site from spam and abuse, Google reCAPTCHA collects technical details such as your browser and device. My web host also keeps standard server logs.
How I use it
To reply to you, schedule and prepare for sessions, cast and study your chart, send you your recording and transcript, send the newsletter if you’ve subscribed, and keep the site secure. I never sell your information, and I don’t use it for advertising.
Where it’s kept and who helps me
Your birth details are kept in the astrology software I use for chart work (Astro Gold, Solar Fire, and Nechepso) so I can prepare for future sessions with you. Session recordings and transcripts are kept privately.
A few trusted services handle information on my behalf, each under its own privacy terms: Calendly (booking and payments), Zoom (sessions), MailerLite (newsletter), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection), Apple iCloud (email), and AccuWeb Hosting (this website). I only share information beyond this if required by law.
How long I keep it
I keep your booking details, chart information, recordings, and transcripts so they’re available if we work together again or you need a copy. If you’d like any of it deleted, just ask and I’ll remove it from my records and software. Payment providers may be required to keep their own transaction records.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the information I hold about you.
- Decline recording at the start of any session.
Cookies and tracking
I don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. The booking, newsletter, and spam-protection tools may set their own cookies to work properly. This site doesn’t respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because it doesn’t track you across other websites.
Adults only
My services are for adults 18 and older, and I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If I update this policy, I’ll change the date at the top of this page.
