Astrologer · Pacific Northwest
Mark Romanenko
I view astrological consultations as a sacred space where both client and astrologer participate in the mystery of a living cosmos that speaks divine wisdom.
My practice is deeply rooted in Hellenistic techniques and informed by Ancient Greek and Indian philosophies, following the lineage of my primary teacher Adam Elenbaas.

My approach
I practice astrology as an oracular art. In the ancient world, astrology was the science of Hermes, messenger of the gods, and astrologers saw themselves as messengers too. One papyrus from Roman Egypt, written for an astrologer at work, speaks of a voice that comes as the stars are set upon the board. I begin from the same place. Whatever wisdom comes through a reading is not mine to claim. My work is to listen well and to serve it.
So a reading is not a forecast handed down to you. Your chart speaks through symbol, myth, and image, and its meaning comes alive in the conversation between us. Often what we need is not a solution but a shift in how we see, and sometimes the most valuable thing a reading does is open a question you weren’t yet asking.
I also draw inspiration from Christian mysticism, navigating the complexities of faith and spirituality. I believe that astrology offers a unique pathway for contemplation, illuminating the interplay between the heavens and our everyday experiences.
In a consultation, I work to create a compassionate and insightful atmosphere where you can explore your personal journey and uncover the deeper meanings within your chart, fostering a sense of connection and purpose in your daily life and spiritual path.
